I'd like to tell you about my pet whose name is Dalkong. I met her in 2013 when she was 2 months old and now she is a 8 years old Yorkshire terrier. Actually, my parents disagreed when I decided to raise a dog and asked for their acknowledgement. Especially, my mother was not an animal lover at all. But I insisted, and they relented after all. Dalkong became our family member!

You know what's happening now? My mother keeps talking to Dalkong and treats her like a baby. My mother kisses and hugs her everyday, and she even sleeps with her. I've never thought that my mother would become such a dog person. Dalkong has changed everyone and everything in my life. With her, our family feel happier than ever. I think that's why people raise their pets.

A veterinarian said that Dalkong is overweight for Yorkshire terrier breed. Yes, she is too much greedy about food, acting like she's starving all the time :) My family walk her everyday for her diet and health, but unfortunately, she doesn't like walking outside that much, unlike other pets. She really likes home. She seems to be scared by strangers and unfamiliar environment.

The lifespan for a Yorkshire terrier is usually between 12 and 20 years. It's so sad that Dalkong lives for such a short period only,
but I'm extremely happy for having Dalkong in my life and my
love for her will never end.
